Public Art Design
Following a multi-million-dollar renovation, Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel reclaims its status as one of Phoenix’s most iconic properties. The hotel’s entrance and valet were relocated in order to improve connectivity with the new-and-improved, pedestrian-friendly Adams Street corridor. And innovative lighting and signage activate the streets for hotel guests and downtown locals alike.
Perched above the corner, a large, color-changing LED glass feature is visible from the nearby Phoenix Convention Center and acts as a beacon attracting downtown resident and tourists. Below at street level, light totems also change color to enhance the valet team’s experience as they welcome arriving guests. These exterior elements not only serve as backdrops to the modern streetscape, but they give guests a sense of arriving in style, and set the tone for the overall guest experience throughout the hotel.
