City of Hope Orange County Cancer Hospital Earns IIDA SoCal Award

News & Insights

City of Hope Orange County Cancer Hospital has received a 2026 Calibre Design Award from the International Interior Design Association’s (IIDA) Southern California Chapter. The Calibre Awards recognize outstanding achievement in interior architecture and design, celebrating projects that demonstrate innovation, creativity, and meaningful impact on the built environment. Altitude Design Office collaborated with HOK and City of Hope to develop the hospital’s integrated wayfinding and architectural signage program, helping patients, visitors, and staff navigate a highly complex healthcare environment with greater clarity and confidence.

This recognition is especially meaningful to Altitude, which has also served as the Calibre Awards’ brand design partner since 2016, developing and evolving the program’s visual identity over the past decade.
